Raiders wide receiver Denarius Moore has practiced this week and is expected to make his season debut at Miami on Sunday with a limited number of plays.

Moore has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury Aug. 4, and the team held him out of the season opener. With Jacoby Ford potentially headed for injured reserve due to foot surgery, Derek Hagan was signed last week and played a significant role against San Diego, so Moore's return is important for the Raiders.

However, he won't play a full number of snaps as the team tries to ease him back into the receiver rotation. Moore had 33 receptions last season, when he played in 13 games, including 10 starts.

While coach Dennis Allen indicated this week that the Raiders would consider adding a wide receiver, general manager Reggie McKenzie said it won't be Terrell Owens, Plaxico Burress or Chad Johnson.

"It's not just (their) age," McKenzie told the San Francisco Chronicle. "If the right player could add to the group . . . we just didn’t feel that those three were the right ones. Clear and simple. If I felt like they could have added something to what we were doing, I would have strongly considered it."

Allen was asked about the possibility of bringing in Johnson earlier in the week.

"I wouldn't specify him specifically as there's interest there. We're going to look at everybody that's available and if we feel like there's somebody that can help us and give us a chance to be better and help this team win, then we're going to do that," Allen said Tuesday. "If he fits that category, then I wouldn't rule anything out."
