(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By MICHAEL WAGAMAN Associated Press Marcel Reece isn't putting much value behind the numbers he's had in the two games since taking over as the Oakland Raiders' starting running back.
He might be the only one.
Oakland's primary fullback the past two seasons, Reece has amassed nearly 300 yards in total offense while providing some much-needed stability to a backfield that has been plagued by injuries this year. Last week against New Orleans, he fell 10 receiving yards shy of joining Hall of Famer Marcus Allen as the only players in franchise history to have 100 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving in one game.
Just don't expect him to make a big deal about it.
With the Raiders mired in a three-game losing streak, Reece shrugs off his achievements as little more than stats on paper.

APNewsNow. The Oakland Raiders have promoted linebacker Kaelin Burnett from the practice squad to fill the spot vacated by Aaron Curry's release.
The team announced the move Saturday, a day before Oakland visited Cincinnati.
Burnett was signed by Oakland as an undrafted free agent from Nevada. He is the 27th player on the 53-man roster acquired by first-year general manager...
Since last Tuesday, Aaron Curry is no longer a Raider. After spending half of the season in the Physically-Unable-to-Perform List, the linebacker saw action in the last two games, primarily on special teams. It was enough for head coach Dennis Allen, who decided to part ways with Curry stating that he didn’t feel like he was a fit for the [...]
The Raiders are good for one thing the rest of the season, big fantasy passing numbers. They'll be behind in every game and don't have any RB's left on the roster. Hopefully Palmer's arm doesn't fall off.
After going a red hot 13-1 in week 11, I went 2-1 on Thanksgiving day. For the season that makes it 106-57. I'm still in striking distance of...
The Oakland Raiders backfield will be without RB Darren McFadden once again this week when the team takes on the Cincinnati Bengals. McFadden will miss his third straight game for the Raiders while being sidelined with an ankle injury. McFadden did not practice on Friday and no exact return date is known although head coach Dennis Allen told reporters he is making progress.
Oakland running back Darren McFadden (ankle) missed Friday's practice and beat writer Steve Corkran is reporting that both McFadden and Mike Goodson will not play in Week 12.Fantasy Spin:McFadden has never been a quick healer and the original diagnosis in Week 9 was 2-4 weeks. Marcel Reece is the best fantasy option out of the Raiders backfield after posting 193 yards from scrimmage...
Steve Corkran tweets that Raiders RB Darren McFadden is unlikely to play against the Bengals this weekend.
McFadden has already missed a few weeks now with an ankle injury, but there was hope that he would be available for Week 12. Marcel Reece figures to see another solid workload against Cincinnati with Mike Goodson also dealing with an ankle injury of his own.
The Oakland Raiders continue to struggle with running back Darren McFadden.
McFadden has been ruled out for Sunday’s Cincinnati homecoming for Raiders QB Carson Palmer.

So what is the spread for the game between the Raiders and Bengals? The Bengals are an 8.5 point favorite with the over/under (total points) for the game set at 51.

It was expected to be a shootout between the Oakland Raiders and the New Orleans Saints last Sunday, when the teams collided at the O.Co Coliseum. Well, at least one side did their part and, unfortunately for the Raider Nation, it wasn’t the Silver & Black. The offense led by Carson Palmer could not keep up with Drew Brees and [...]
