The Oakland Raiders ruled wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey out of Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. Heyward-Bey took a hard shot to the head from Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Mundy last week and was hospitalized overnight with a concussion and neck injury. He hadn't practiced at all this week but had been listed as doubtful to play this week until the Raiders announced Saturday afternoon that he wouldn't see action. Raiders tight end Richard Gordon also won't play Sunday.

This week’s Oakland Raiders’ game could be against anyone. The best team, the worst team, or anyone in between. When it is time to play Denver, the focus leads to the Raider’s long extended rivalry with the Broncos. To me, we have to put that in the back of our minds this week. The team [...]
Denver, CO. Although both the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders have identical 1-2 records through three weeks of the 2012 regular season, each team has gotten to this point in entirely different ways. The Broncos have battled through a brutal September schedule, and even though they have dropped two of their first three, they have scored the exact amount of total points that...

Coming off of a surprising, yet quite impressive win over Pittsburgh, the Oakland Raiders look to make it two in a row as they travel to Denver to take on the Broncos. A win over the Broncos would push the Raiders to 2-2 heading into their bye week, and would be a great way of [...]
Raiders running back Darren McFadden (shoulder) was limited in practice again, but the injury is more bruise than anything serious. We fully expect McFadden to play.Fantasy Spin:The Raiders' star running back has been inconsistent, but his receiving skills have helped keep his fantasy numbers at an acceptable level. McFadden could have a good Week 4 with Denver's MLB Joe...

Looks like a personal foul is being called on Bachlorette Emily Maynard. In August, US Weekly had Jef Holm’s brother accused Maynard of texting with another man. Now, the magazine has revealed the texter was Oakland Raider quarterback Matt Leinart.
Holm’s ex Kaylee Shepherd confirms the rumors, “He said the story was 100 percent accurate. When she put her phone down, [Jef...
Oakland Raiders @ Denver BroncosOakland Raiders: Another game that likely cost more than a few survivor pool players, as the Raiders were able to come back at home and take a game from the Steelers.Pittsburgh looked like they had the game well in hand. But then Carson Palmer stormed back, throwing for three touchdowns and showing that he’s a viable starter if you’ve been forced...
One of the – if not the – biggest plays of the week 3 contest versus the Steelers was the first running play of the Raiders where Darren McFadden scampered virtually untouched 64 yards down the field and into the end zone for their first rushing touchdown of the season.
The play was significant for a number of reasons – it tied up the score, shifted momentum and gave...
