According to Jerry McDonald of InsideBayArea.com, the Oakland Raiders have hired Jason Tarver as their new defensive coordinator.
Tarver was previously an assistant coach for the San Francisco 49ers from 2001-2010 and the Univsersity of Stanford this past season.

The Oakland Raiders are considering hiring current Stanford defensive coordinator Jason Tarver as its new defensive coordinator, according to ESPNs Adam Schefter. Tarver, 37, previously served as an assistant coach with the San Francisco 49ers from 2001-2010 before being named co-defensive coordinator last season at Stanford.
