Jacoby Ford is a very fast man, matter of fact at the 2010 NFL Combine, he clocked a 4.28 40. Ford was drafted by the Raiders in Round 4 with the 108th pick overall in the 2010 NFL Draft. Ford has flashed big play potential, but injuries have kept the potent speedster sidelined. A foot injury Ford suffered in November of 2011 forced the receiver to have surgery, and he re-injured the foot during the 2012 preseason costing him the entire 2012 campaign. The Raiders are looking for him to return full speed to help get their passing game heading in the right direction. Ford feels the injury is behind him and there is plenty of time to get back into the groove of things. "It's not quite 100 percent, but it's coming along really well," Ford said, via Vic Tafur of sfgate.com. "I am back to running routes and feel pretty good about my straight-ahead full speed. And I have been cutting on it. "We just have so much time left that we're taking our time with it. There's no reason to rush it." "It's very frustrating to sit out a full season and take a whole season of criticism," Ford said. "But going through it definitely made me stronger and it made me hungrier. "People were saying stuff, stuff that you don't really want to see. But it's gonna happen, so you have to learn to have thick skin. ... It's a pain sometimes, but Twitter is usually more positive than negative. The Raider Nation always shows a lot of love regardless. It's just a few people, but it's all good." "I plan to do the whole nine yards this year, catch, return kickoffs and return punts," Ford said. "Do everything." var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
