Oakland Raiders safety Hiram Eugene suffered a dislocated hip in Thursday's exhibition opener vs. Arizona and may be out for the season, the Oakland Tribune reported.
Eugene was slotted as a starter until the Raiders re-signed free agent safety Michael Huff. Eugene has played four seasons in Oakland, collecting 22 tackles in 14 games last season.
According to the report, Raiders wide receiver Chaz Schilens suffered a knee injury in the same game.
Schilens apparently suffered the injury while being tackled on a reverse and was attended to by trainers on the sidelines. He caught just five passes last season and has missed 19 games over the last two years due to injury.
