Raiders place LB Kana'i Mauga on IR, activate LB Curtis Bolton vs. Lions
Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders activated linebacker Curtis Bolton from injured reserve and placed rookie linebacker Kana'i Mauga on the list ahead of Monday night's game at the Detroit Lions.

Bolton injured his knee against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 24 and was placed on IR on Sept. 30.

Bolton, 27, who mostly plays on special teams, has played in three games this season after 10 games in 2022, his first with the Raiders. He spent his rookie year with the Lions (five games).

Mauga, 23, had three tackles in four games before he was added to the Week 8 injury report (knee).

Las Vegas (3-4) also elevated wide receiver DJ Turner and kicker James McCourt from the practice squad for the game against the Lions (5-2).

McCourt was among the team's gameday inactives, along with quarterback Brian Hoyer, linebacker Divine Deablo, cornerback Tyler Hall, wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson and defensive tackles Byron Young and Nesta Jade Silvera.

The Lions will be without center Frank Ragnow, who was deemed doubtful Saturday with toe and calf injuries before being made inactive Monday night. Detroit running back David Montgomery (ribs) and guard Jonah Jackson (ankle) are also among the inactives.
