The Oakland Raiders will be without starting quarterback Carson Palmer on Sunday as Palmer will miss the season finale due to cracked ribs and a bruised lung. Palmer suffered the injuries during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. He took a shot from Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy and was forced to leave the game. Initial X-rays came back negative, but a CT scan revealed the damage. With Palmer out, Matt Leinart will start against San Diego while second-year quarterback Terrelle Pryor will also be worked into the game in certain situations. Source: SBNation.com
