Terrelle Pryor had his first National Football League start against the San Diego Chargers on December 30th of last year. He went 13 for 28 with 150 yards two touchdowns and an interception through the air and rushed 9 times for 49 yards and another score in a close 24-21 loss.
This week Pryor takes on the Chargers again and the Raiders’ new offensive coordinator Greg Olson praised his quarterback’s progress since the last time he faced San Diego.
“It had been a while since I watched that game so when it came up this week I got a chance to see it again” Olson told csnbayarea.com’s Scott Bair. “It refreshed my memory and I thought ‘Oh this guy has shown a lot of improvement in the course of when he last played the Chargers in that last game.’ That was encouraging to me after watching that.”
Pryor responded to his coaches’ praise and gave Raiders’ fans reason for encouragement.
