Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden will rest his sprained right foot and not play in Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos.
McFadden has been on the mend since suffering the injury Oct. 23 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He was on crutches and wearing a protective boot on his foot Wednesday.
McFadden has been one of the top running backs in the league so far, carrying the ball 113 times for 614 yards and four touchdowns.
Michael Bush will get his first start of the season in place of McFadden.
Bush has rushed for 237 yards and three touchdowns on 60 carries through seven games.
