Raiders Re-Sign Guard Netane Muti
USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders are returning another player on offense ahead of next week’s free agency kickoff.

The Raiders have re-signed guard Netane Muti, the team announced on Thursday.

Muti was brought on by the Silver and Black in Week 15 of last season after spending two-plus seasons with the Denver Broncos. He has yet to play a game for the Raiders.

The 6-foot-3, 315-pound guard was drafted by Denver in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played four games in his rookie season, having made one start.

Muti then made three starts in his 15 games played for Denver the following season.

This past season, Muti bounced back and forth between the Broncos’ active roster and the practice squad, appearing in only one game.

A a day after his lone game, the 23-year-old guard was assigned back to the practice squad, from where the Raiders would pick him up on Dec. 13.

Muti played three seasons at Fresno State, having redshirted his freshman year after suffering an Achilles injury before the start of the season.

In fact, Muti would be plagued by injuries for the remainder of his career at Fresno, ultimately only having played a total of five games during his time with the program.
