Pro Sports Daily:
Stacy McGee got to Raiders teammate Nick Roach before Roach even got up from his interception 20 yards down the field last Sunday. Which is pretty good, since it was McGee's pressure and hit on Houston quarterback Case Keenum that set up the interception.
"I got a little excited," McGee said. "It was cool. Need more, though."
While Oakland has seen its first two draft picks struggle with injuries this year, they are excited about the quick rise their sixth-round pick out of Oklahoma has made. McGee will get his second straight start at defensive tackle against Tennessee on Sunday.
"The interception that Nick Roach had, the two guards went to block our other guys so (McGee) had a one-on-one and he got by the center and he caused that interception," defensive coordinator Jason Tarver said. "That was a big-time play in that game. Stacy had a few really good plays in that game."

On November 24, the Tennessee Titans, (aka the Flaming Thumbtacks), will be flying almost 2000 mile west, hopefully into the setting sun of their season, when they travel to face the Oakland Raiders.
The Titans head into this game with a 4-6 record, the same as the Raiders. The difference is they head into it with a 2 game losing streak, going 1-4 in their last 5 games...
In 2011, Oakland traveled to the East Coast to take on the Fitzpatrick-led Buffalo Bills. The game was a high-scoring back and forth thriller, with Buffalo scoring a game-winning touchdown to David Nelson with fourteen seconds remaining. It was perhaps the most heartbreaking loss in an ultimately disappointing season. Leave it to Fitzpatrick to once again deliver a disappointing...
According to Darin Gantt of Profootballtalk.com, Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden and WR Denarius Moore will miss Sunday's matchup against the Titans.
Oakland Raiders QB Matt McGloin had 197 passing yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions last week in his NFL debut. However, he will face a much tougher test against the the 8th ranked Titans defense and he knows that it will be tougher sledding than his sparkling performance last week.
The Raiders have had a lot of storylines this season, but there is one that has gone virtually unnoticed by everyone: the resurgence of Charles Woodson. Signed as a free agent this year, Woodson was a low-risk, high-reward signing by Reggie McKenzie, and it was arguably his best of the offseason. NFL Network’s Rich Eisen had an offseason interview with Woodson in an episode of...

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- It might be November, with more than a third of the season still to play, but you can call Sunday's game in Oakland between the Titans and host Raiders a playoff elimination game.
Both the Titans and Raiders are 4-6 and among a gaggle of eight AFC teams sitting at either 5-5 or 4-6 and vying for what appears to be only one available wild-card spot.
Raiders receiver Denarius Moore (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Tennessee, according to Scott Bair of csnbayarea.com.Fantasy Spin:Moore missed another practice Friday with a shoulder injury. Rod Streater will be QB Matt McGloin's No. 1 target on the outside, but tight end Mychal Rivera also should see increased targets and is a sleeper TE1.

Tennessee Titans (4-6) at Oakland Raiders (4-6)
The Raiders may be 4-6, but they aren’t as good as their record. Their 4 wins have come against teams that are a combined 11-29. They are moving the chains at a 67% rate, as opposed to 73% for their opponents. Their defense has been surprisingly competent, but their offense has been extremely limited this year. Matt McGloin had a...
