Silver and Black Daily:

Usually, it takes NFL teams several weeks to sign all of their draft picks.
But that wasn’t the case this year for the Oakland Raiders. As the final day of OTAs arrived in Napa, CA, Oakland turned its attention to signing its 2012 draft class ahead of the mandatory minicamp next week. The team signed defensive end Jack Crawford, defensive tackle Christo Bilukidi and linebackers...
Rookie LB Miles Burris, a fourth-round pick from San Diego State, agreed to contract terms Thursday, Scout.com reported. Only two of the Raiders' six draft picks have yet to sign or agree to terms: G Tony Bergstrom, a third-round choice from Utah, and WR Juron Criner, a fifth-rounder from Arizona. The Oakland Raiders are not exactly known for their big name players as of right now which almost forces the attention on to players who either have yet to earn it or players who we just do not need to see anymore. On the flip side there are also a couple of players, like any team, who do not get the credit that they deserve.
I am back again and this time it is to take a look at...
NFL Daily Digest: 6-8-2012
C’mon Chad: It seems that Chad Johnson was released because he is not smart enough to do what the Patriots need him to do according to the Boston Globe. He apparently lacked the “football I.Q.” to get it...

According to the Contra County Times, it is Denarius Moore and not Darrius Heyward-Bey who will be the Raiders’ #1 receiver next season. This might sound strange because Heyward-Bey led the team in receiving by a large margin last season (64/975/4 as opposed to 33/618/5). However, Moore was just a rookie and played just 13 games.
He also actually outgained Heyward-Bey down the...
I will be doing a series of Raiders camp position battles throughout the off-season starting with wide receiver. I will continue to update these battles throughout camp as roster events take place such as injuries, cuts, new signings, etc.
The current wide receivers on the 90 man roster are:
Denarius Moore #17
Denarius Moore will be the most interesting player to watch this year...
Through their website, and the team’s official Twitter account, the Oakland Raiders announced the signing of 3 out of their 6 draft picks from the 2012 NFL draft. The announcement comes on the heels of the team declaring that Marcel Reece had signed his exclusive rights tender. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed, but [...]
Amid the drafted and undrafted rookies that participated in the May minicamp held by the Raiders, a number of more veteran players were also given a chance to tryout. One of those tryout players was Kevin Haslam – a 6'5" 304 lb offensive lineman out of Rutgers.Haslam showed enough in the minicamp that the Raiders signed him to the roster and he has been with the team...
Via: An M&T Bank was robbed in Forestville Thursday afternoon. Police are trying to identify the man who robbed the bank, located at 3700 Donnell Dr. The suspect is a black male with a light mustache. He was last seen wearing an Oakland Raiders hat, white-framed sunglasses, a dark colored jacked and black shirt.
Homeboy won’t last long. No way he is throwing away those glasses...
Media were allowed into view a Raiders OTA again this week and, after some time to digest the story-lines and sift through all of the information, TFDS will attempt to pull out the pieces that are likely to affect the team.
As with most sessions this time of year, we must take much of the camp with a grain of salt. Again, the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) strictly prohibits...
Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor was the late Al Davis’ final draft pick before he passed away. He made it clear that he cherishes the little time he was able to spend with Davis.
Pryor says that being the last pick of Davis’s life drives him, because he doesn’t want to be a bust in the end.
“That drives me,” Pryor said. “Because the last pick...
The Raiders have now signed their first draft picks this year, including fifth-round defensive end Jack Crawford, sixth-round defensive tackle Christo Bilukidi and seventh-round linebacker Nathan Stupar. A former Penn State standout, Crawford recorded 42 tackles with 6 1/2 sacks and two fumble recoveries. Bilukidi was a two-year starter at Georgia State after transferring from Eastern...
On Thursday, the Oakland Raiders signed three of their draft picks from this year’s class. They announced the signing of defensive end Jack Crawford, defensive tackle Christo Bilukidi and linebacker Nathan Stupar.
The Raiders only have three more draft picks to sign.
The Oakland Raiders have signed offensive lineman Nick Howell and released fullback Tre'Shawn Robinson to make room for the signing. Howell is expected to provide depth during training camp with little chance to make the final roster.
Howell was signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent after the 2010 NFL Draft. The 6-5, 300 pound offensive tackle out of USC...
