According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Oakland Raiders will try to restructure Carson Palmer’s contract. This isn’t a surprise at all since he’s scheduled to make $13 million 2013, which is way too much money.
With the Raiders roughly $2.4 million over the salary cap, redoing Palmer’s contract would help them possibly make some moves in free agency. Even if it means they’ll able to bring back some of their own free agents.
