For months the Raiders have been looking to bolster their front office. They previously reached out to the league’s VP of football operations, Ray Anderson. And now they’re reportedly doing the same with Mike Holmgren. According to ESPN’s Bill Williamson and John Clayton, the Raiders want to add the former Packers coach/Seahawks coach/Browns president to a “leadership position within the organization.” The Browns never won more than five games in each of the two-plus years Holmgren was running the franchise. Holmgren has deep roots in the Bay Area and goes way back with Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie when they were both in the Packers organization. Nepotism!
