The Raiders announced wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey, who was carted off the field Week 3 against the Steelers after a violent helmet-to-helmet hit, was released from the hospital Monday after spending the night under observation. He is resting a home with a concussion and neck strain, but is expected to make a full recovery.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, it’s not believed that  Oakland Raiders wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey suffered a concussion during Sunday’s win over the Steelers.  The belief at this point is that he has a neck injury. Heyward-Bey stayed overnight at the hospital for further testing.
