ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Rams backup quarterback A.J. Feeley has a small fracture in his right thumb, leaving his availability in doubt for next Monday's game at Seattle. Starter Sam Bradford's status is iffy, too. Offensive guard Jacob Bell has an even more significant injury from Sunday's loss at San Francisco with an ligament tear to his right knee. Coach Steve Spagnuolo says Bell could miss a month, meaning he'd miss the rest of the season. Spagnuolo said the team would probably know more about Feeley on Tuesday. Spagnuolo said Bradford had been willing to start but was held out because the team didn't want to risk further injury.

Offense only getting worse for Rams

As the Rams enter the final four games of the season with a 2-10 record, they seem to have no answers for an offense that can't get out of its own way. In Sunday's 26-0 loss to San Francisco, the Rams gained just 157 yards on 49 plays and had 10 possessions with four plays or less. Said quarterback A.J. Feeley, who started in place of Sam Bradford, "It's kind of...

Rams QB Bradford ruled inactive vs. 49ers

St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford was ruled inactive for Sunday's game against the NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers. A.J. Feeley will get the start versus the 49ers. Bradford aggravated a sprained left ankle in last Sunday's 23-20 loss to the division rival Arizona Cardinals. He missed a pair of games earlier this season with the same injury. The top pick in 2010...

The St. Louis Rams are really hurting at QB right now

34-year old A.J. Feeley has a small fracture in his right thumb, which could cause him to miss the next Rams’ game (Monday Night in Seattle).  He has played in 5 games for the Rams so far this year and he has completed 53 of 97 passes (54.6%) for 548 yards with 1 TD pass and 2 INTs (66.0 QB Rating).  He has also carried the ball 3 times for 4 yards (1.3 ypc) in this game...

Season-ending Reckoning For The Rams

Let's plant a marker down here, shall we? Twelve weeks in, Sam Bradford's ankle (read: his offensive line) is apparently too tetchy for him to continue the season, and AJ Feeley just reached his expiration date. So it's Tom Brandstater time, or so it appears, and you can pretty much throw out whatever happens next in any evaluation of this Rams team. So let's take...

Rams backup A.J. Feeley QB has thumb fracture

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- St. Louis Rams backup quarterback A.J. Feeley has a small fracture in his right thumb, leaving his availability in doubt for next Monday's game at Seattle. Starter Sam Bradford's status is iffy, too.

Rams QB A.J. Feeley Has Fractured Right Thumb

Teams all over the league are running out of quarterbacks, and feel free to add the St. Louis Rams to that list. First, Sam Bradford is dealing with an ankle-sprain aggravation and now his backup, A.J. Feeley, has a fractured right thumb. Head coach Steve Spagnuolo made the announcement on Monday and called it a "small fracture." Feeley suffered the injury after hitting...

Rams' Feeley has broken thumb; Bradford iffy

Rams activate practice squad QB; Bradford iffy

The St. Louis Rams activated quarterback Tom Brandstater from the practice squad, reflecting concern about Sam Bradford's availability for Sunday's game at San Francisco.

Rams Niners Preview

The 2-9 St. Louis Rams will take on the 9-2 San Francisco 49ers this Sunday and they may have to do it without starting QB Sam Bradford who aggravated a high ankle sprain that kept him out of two games earlier in the season. Not that having Bradford will make much of a difference against  the 49ers, the NFC West Division leaders but their chances are increased dramatically with...

No Sam Bradford or Braylon Edwards

Rams quarterback Sam Bradford is out with an ankle injury; and 49ers wide receiver Braylon, who did not practice during the week, is also inactive with knee and shoulder injuries. The 49ers also inactivated Moran Norris, after he started on Thanksgiving Night for injured rookie Bruce Miller. ...

Rams Lay Egg At Candlestick

I am certain that I’m not the lone Rams fan who wishes that this season would just end already and the draft begin.  In a season when St. Louis was projected to be better than the San Francisco 49ers it has been the anything but that as both teams have been a surprise in 2011. The rejuvenated Niners are head and shoulders above the disappointing Rams and proved it Sunday with...
