A lot of questions at the running back position were abound after the departure of star RB Steven Jackson, but things seem to be looking on the upside for the Saint Louis Rams in training camp.
Not one, or two, but three young backs - Isaiah Pead, Daryl Richardson and 5th round pick Zac Stacy, could form quite a formidable triple threat if things progress the way head coach Jeff Fisher envisions, telling the NFL Netowkr's Ian Rapoport that the situation could be "playing two or three backs all the time. Which is good."
NFL.com's Chris Wesseling writes: ' Slightly undersized, Pead and Richardson operate best in space while Stacy packs more punch as a decisive inside runner. The tea leaves suggest a "hot hand" situation between the former while the latter handles short-yardage duties. Much like the Rams' wide receiver quagmire, the backfield promises to be vexing for fantasy leaguers throughout the 2013 season. '
