Guard Harvey Dahl (infection), defensive end Eugene Sims (ankle) and safety Darian Stewart (hamstring) returned to the practice field Wednesday, the Rams' first day of practice in preparation for Sunday's game against the Lions in Detroit.
The team was thin at defensive tackle, since Matthew Conrath (knee), Michael Brockers (high ankle sprain) and Darell Scott (knee) weren't on the field.
Rokevious Watkins and Robert Turner split reps with the first unit at guard.
