Can Sam Bradford overcome troubling tendencies?

I talked about Sam Bradford as being one of the quarterbacks to watch this year, in our QB Edition of TTR’s Players to Watch.  I am hoping that he will return to the promising form he showed as a rookie, but last year he clearly regressed.  I mentioned that the beating he took was clearly taking a toll [...]

Packers Reportedly Interested In Acquiring Rams RB Steven Jackson

The Packers saw Steven Jackson rush for 57 yards and a touchdown against them on 12 impressive carries in Week 7. Now they have until Thursday before Week 9 to decide whether they want to acquire the Rams' star for their own backfield for the rest of the season. ESPN reported the Packers are among multiple teams who might be interested in trading for Jackson before the NFL...

Patriots back home after routing Rams in London

The toughest part of New England's trip to Old England might have been getting home, and even that journey wasn't as rough as feared. The Patriots beat the brunt of Hurricane Sandy into Boston on Monday, one day after routing the St. Louis Rams 45-7 in London. They landed at Logan Airport at mid-day after moving up their departure time. They returned safely, and in first...

Rams receiver Chris Givens left Sunday's game versus New England with a toe injury but he returned later in the game.Fantasy Spin:Givens has a catch of 50 or more yards in five straight games, including a 50-yard TD strike in the first quarter Sunday against the Patriots.

The Steven Jackson Speculation Intensifies, Especially In Green Bay

'Tis the season for amped-up speculation, drawn out that much more by an extended trade deadline. [That] leaves us 48 extra hours to ponder the silly idea that the Rams have placed Pro Bowl running back Steven Jackson on the trading block and can't wait to dump him on anyone who calls. Well, technically, Jackson is on the trade block. Then again, who in the NFL isn't...

Danny Amendola wants to play against Patriots

St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola was known as a tough player even before he suffered a hit and dislocated his collar bone, an injury that could have claimed his life. Now, just three weeks after that brutal injury, Amendola is trying to prove exactly how tough he is.  The wide receiver is doing everything he can to come back and play this week when the Rams take on the...

Raiders CB Ron Bartell Expected To Return To Practice This Week

Coach Dennis Allen rewarded his players for Sunday’s win with a day off Monday, their first Victory Monday of the season. “There’s times during the season where players need a mental break and a physical break,” he said. “I felt like, we had the bye, we’ve gone through three straight tough weeks, it was time to give them a little bit of a mental break as much as it was anything...

Comments from the other side - Rams 10/28

If the Rams fans weren't constantly wishing that Brady got injured, it'd be easy to feel bad for them. At first they blame the refs, but after awhile they just indulge in the booze. This was a good beatdown of an inferior team, maybe the first complete game we've seen from the Patriots all year. The Rams were also ticked off that the Patriots were running up the score...

Week 8 Preview – St. Louis Rams vs. New England Patriots

I am having Déjà vu. Upon completion of my research, I have written this preview before. See if any of this sounds familiar. The Rams need to be able to run the ball, or at least threaten the run to have offensive success. Turns out, the Patriots strength on defense is against the run.  They are 8th against the run, allowing only 86 yards a game. The Patriots weakness...

London Burning: Patriots lay waste to the Rams

I learned two things while watching the Rams at a Dave & Busters with my family and a group of Rams fans. 1: The amount of time it takes for the D&B sensory overload to reduce my four-year-old son to be reduced to a quivering puddle of nerves and tears is approximately two hours. 2: The amount of time it takes for Tom Brady and the Patriots to do the same to the Rams defense...

St. Louis Rams VS. New England Patriots Week 8 Recap

It was a great game for the New England Patriots but a horrible game for the Saint Louis Rams.  The Rams have had a lot of trouble beating the  Patriots since the Super Bowl loss to them and today was no exception.  The final score of the game was 45-7. The Rams actually did dominate the ball.  The Rams had the ball for 31:06 while the Patriots had it for just under 29 minutes...

Four possessions, four touchdowns for the Patriots in the first half. New England leads St. Louis 28-7 at the break in London. Gronk celebrated London style, by imitating a British Royal Guard march...
