Rams get into free agency, sign QB Feely

Jay Feely. Welcome to the St. Louis Rams.The starting QB position is yours to lose.  Seriously. Having endured the QB play that the Rams have displayed the last two years, sigining Feely to a two-year contract (terms undisclosed) as per Foxsports, he has a great shot to be the opening day starter. Of course if the Rams draft Sam Bradford or Jimmy Claussen,  then the chances of that happening might become null. However, since incumbent starter Marc Bulger has not demonstrated his Pro Bowl caliber in 4 years,  and backup Kyle Boller is going to be just that, a forever backup, it really is Feely’s job to lose. So the Rams have a lot of other needs that need to be addressed, basically the rest of their entire team. Getting Feely is definitely somewhere between an upgrade of Boller and maybe a little less of Bulger. Regardless the Rams have a new QB, a necessary move to get more competition and better their options moving forward to the draft.
