PLAYERS: Jeff Fisher
TEAMS: St. Louis Rams

The St. Louis Rams have some optimism heading into the 2012 NFL season with Jeff Fisher taking over as head coach after the team has been a bottom feeder since 2007. In order to get fans excited and pay respect to Fisher they have come up with a brilliant marketing plan which includes handing out a free Fisher “Stache” for those that buy discounted tickets to the home opener on September 16th versus the Redskins. Here is what they will look like:

First of all, it’s great that fans have the chance to get discounted ticket prices. With everything they have put up for the past 5 seasons it’s the least they could do for those that have remained loyal. And if you are fan that has been on the fence as to whether or not to spend you hard earned money on this franchise at least they are giving you a bit of a break to start the year.

Might as well try to implement Fisher into the mix creating excitement. After all, he was one of the most coveted free agent coaches I can remember in recent history. They are using him as a selling point to the fans as to why the organization will finally turn things around. If you are going to this extent might as well make light of the situation and create a little bid of comedy by utilizing his famous moustache.

Hopefully, the Rams start to improve sooner rather then later if at all otherwise they will need to resort to more crazy marketing ideas just to get people showing up to watch this team play.
