PLAYERS: Jo-Lonn Dunbar
TEAMS: St. Louis Rams
In his fourth year out of Boston College, Jo-Lonn Dunbar is quickly establishing himself in the Rams linebacking corps. Third on the team in tackles, three sacks, and his first career interception against the Lions, Dunbar is growing weekly and proving to be a defensive menace to opposing offenses.
Although having just signed with the Rams this spring, Dunbar spent the 2008-11 seasons with the New Orleans Saints and earned a ring in Superbowl XLIV though not playing in the game due to a knee injury.
Winning is not new to Dunbar, in 2006 he was named the MVP of the Meineke Car Care Bowl while with BC, and is the fourth NCAA player to score twice recovering fumbles in a single game.… Read more

Report: Rams shopping players, Steven Jackson on trade block?

Mike Lombardi of the NFL Network is reporting that the St. Louis Rams, conceding to the fact that they're not going to the Super Bowl this season or any time soon, are open to trading players for draft picks. (note to Rams, you're 3-3, long way to go guys, the Patriots are even 3-3, relax) With the trade deadline only 9 days away, one intriguing scenario being mentioned...

St. Louis Rams continue to improve in 30-20 Loss

A lot of football heads apply the term “garbage time” to a team that finds any offensive success while attempting to come back from a deficit of two touchdowns or more late in the fourth quarter. The St. Louis Rams found success in garbage time, as Sam Bradford found an open Austin Pettis in the back of the end zone with 19 seconds left in the game. However, it was garbage time...

Rams rookie Johnson hurt on onside kick

Rookie Trumaine Johnson of the St. Louis Rams was flipped on his head just as he was about to haul in an onside kick in the first quarter, and left the field for tests. The team said Johnson had a hip injury and his return was questionable. Jamari Lattimore recovered the onside kick at the St. Louis 49 for the Packers, who had just scored on a touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers...

Rams receive first home loss, new questions

ST. LOUIS At a time when standing .500 can either mean progress or a letdown, Sam Bradford and Aaron Rodgers met on the field with a proven winner trending upward. A sizable Green Bay Packers contingent roared in the clearing Edward Jones Dome, turning the St. Louis Rams' sanctuary into Lambeau Field with a roof. The Rams' stellar start, which saw them own their first...

Jeff Fisher, Rams Mimic Clay Matthews Using Sammy Brown in Blonde Wig (Photo)

One of the important parts of preparing for a game in the National Football League is simulating the other teams' tendencies in practice -- Jeff Fisher took that to a whole new level. The St. Louis Rams -- who play the Green Bay this weekend -- prepared for Packers' star linebacker Clay Matthews in an unorthodox manner. Rams' linebacker Sammy Brown...

Rams OT tackle Hunter out with back injury

St. Louis Rams offensive tackle Wayne Hunter is inactive against the Packers with a back injury that kept him out of practice all week. Hunter has been the stand-in starter for Rodger Saffold, who has a knee injury. The Rams made another change on the offensive line, with Shelley Smith starting in place of Quinn Ojinnaka. Joe Barksdale, claimed off waivers from Oakland in late September...

Rams look to stay perfect at home

(AP) -- Coming off an impressive bounce-back victory, the Green Bay Packers are looking to finally exhibit the consistency of an elite team. Looking to win consecutive games for the first time this season, the Packers conclude a three-game road stretch Sunday against a St. Louis Rams club they have dominated recently. Amid criticism from media and fans alike, Green Bay (3-3) delivered...

Green Bay Packers at St. Louis Rams: Week 7 NFL Pick

Green Bay Packers (3-3) at St. Louis Rams (3-3) It’s funny how much the general public likes to overreact to one game. Last week, everyone was talking about “what’s wrong with the Packers?” and now some people are calling them the best team in the NFL once again. On top of that, they are being very heavily bet as road dogs here. As you may know if you read these picks often...

Green Bay Packers at St. Louis Rams: Three Bold Predictions

Both teams have been inconsistant this year.  Both teams have proven potential with stellar wins -- this is marred however, with head scratching losses. This is a big game indeed, as both teams come in at 3-3, while both of their respective divisions are competitive in 2012.Considering both teams have been erratic, I found two trends that have been constant. Not only has Green Bay...

Packers 30, Rams 20

ST. LOUIS – The emergence of Randall Cobb continued Sunday at Edward Jones Dome. Green Bay’s second-year wide receiver scored two second half touchdowns to help his team pull away in a close game against scrappy St. Louis, leading to a 30-20 win that helped the Packers complete a stretch of three straight road games with a 2-1 record.
