Denver Post:
In a perfect world for the Broncos, who need help in the defensive front, they would have been able to bring defensive tackle Justin Bannan back. But free agency is an imperfect world and it’s clear Bannan will have too many suitors for the Broncos to get in the mix.
The Broncos made an initial swing at Bannan, who they released just before the lockout began, but it was just a one-year deal.
Bannan has several teams interested at the moment for far more than a one-year contract, with the Rams picking up the pace Thursday. The Rams have more salary cap room to work with and look ready to make a big push for the veteran.
