St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson ended rumors that he would retire after this season by saying Sunday he'll be back next year. After the Rams' 20-13 loss to Seattle, Jackson told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, "I definitely plan on coming back." He may not be playing for the Rams next year, though. Jackson is expected to void the $7 million player option on his contract to become a free agent. Jackson, 29, finished with 1,042 yards this season, which was his ninth year in the NFL. He is the sixth player in NFL history to have eight straight 1,000-yard seasons.
