The St. Louis Rams agreed to terms on a one-year deal with running back Carnell "Cadillac" Williams on Wednesday.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The fifth overall pick of the 2005 draft, Williams rushed 125 times for 437 yards and two touchdowns last season. He also reeled in 46 catches for 355 yards and a score.
The 29-year-old Williams, who was replaced as the Buccaneers' starter by LeGarrette Blount last year, will now be the backup to Steven Jackson in the Gateway City.
