Just a couple hours before Sunday's game between the St. Louis Rams and Arizona Cardinals, Rams fans everywhere were able to breathe a sigh of relief when it was reported that wide receiver Danny Amendola would play. The wide receiver returned form a collarbone injury just two weeks ago, but injured his foot against the Jets last week. He was listed as doubtful up through yesterday. Not everyone for St. Louis, however, was quite as lucky. The full list of Rams inactives, via the team's Twitter: QB Austin Davis, WR Steve Smith, RB Terrance Ganaway, LB Mario Haggan, OL Chris Williams, T Joe Barksdale, DT Matt Conrath. Rams look to stop their free fall against Cards

Two teams, two nosedives. One will pop a parachute. The other will whisper the Rosary. The last time we saw the St. Louis Rams against the Arizona Cardinals, both teams had crashed the NFC West penthouse. The Rams were 2-2, coming off a surprise victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Meanwhile, the Cardinals were 4-0, spinning straw into gold by claiming three triumphs by a combined...

Rams WR Danny Amendola Ruled Doubtful Vs Rams

Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola is expected to miss Sunday's game at Arizona. After not practicing all week, and still in a walking boot, Amendola was listed as doubtful on the Rams' official injury report Friday. The "doubtful" designation, by NFL definition, means there's a 75 percent chance the player will not play. Amendola suffered a foot/heel injury...

Rams defense reawakens in win over Cardinals

Sam Bradford completed only seven passes against the Arizona Cardinals in their first meeting, only eight in their second. But he'll take winning by two touchdowns apiece any day of the week. For that, he has his defense to thank.  After playing so soft over the last month that they could have been cast in a Charmin commercial, the Rams finally found their aggressive streak...

Janoris Jenkins Takes Two Ryan Lindley Interceptions Back for Touchdowns (Animations)

Either Janoris Jenkins was really good on Sunday, or the Cardinals’ quarterback situation has reached an all-time low. It looked like it was actually a little bit of both. The Rams’ rookie cornerback intercepted Cardinals rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley twice, and he took both picks back for touchdowns. The first appeared to be a good read by Jenkins — jumping LaRod Stephens...

Know your enemy: Q&A on Rams-Cards II

When the Rams last met the Arizona Cardinals, the birds stood atop the NFC West with a surprising 4-0 record. However, when we talked to Seth Cox of TSHQ at the time, he was not yet ready to start opening champagne bottles. As it turns out, he was right to put the celebrations on hold. Since that Thursday night primetime matchup, the Cardinals have lost six games and two quarterbacks...

The Cardinals flexed their muscles early Sunday behind rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley, making his first NFL start, but when things began to unravel, it was too much to overcome. Arizona lost...

Rams 31, Cardinals 17

GLENDALE, Az. -- A season that started with so much promise has completely disintegrated for the Arizona Cardinals. That's how Sunday's 31-17 loss to the St. Louis Rams began and ended, too. Rams Win 31-17, Deal Error-Prone Cardinals Seventh Straight Loss

Janoris Jenkins returned two Ryan Lindley interceptions for touchdowns to carry the St. Louis Rams over the slumping Arizona Cardinals, 31-17, at University of Phoenix Stadium. In addition to the big plays, Jenkins, a rookie out of North Alabama, helped pitch a second-half shutout while limiting star wideout Larry Fitzgerald to three catches for 31 yards.
