Ramses Barden, the 6'6 229lb rookie wideout, has been the offensive standout of Giants camp. If he keeps playing this way, the Giants will not be able to keep him off of the field in 2009. I have always said it is going to take Barden a few years to develop and become a wideout who can contribute on the NFL level regularly. It seems I may be wrong here, and Barden could be a bigger part of the offense than I thought.
Do not get me wrong, Barden has a lot to work on and he will not be an elite player right away. He still is having problems escaping the jam at the line of scrimmage and is too slow out of his breaks to beat defenders deep. However, King Ramses does posses natural ability that cannot be taught and knows how to use it to his advantage to make eye-popping receptions throughout Giants camp.
