New York Giants receiver Ramses Barden suffered a concussion during the team’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football and, unfortunately, is unlikely to play against the Cleveland Browns, according to numerous reports. Mark L. Baer-US PRESSWIRE When the concussion was suffered is uncertain, but Barden complained of a headache during the week and was diagnosed after being sent for evaluation on Tuesday. He did not practice Wednesday and is day-to-day until he is cleared to return. Just when things finally seemed to be turning around for the former third-round pick, Barden has been hit with another bump in the road after two consecutive good games. He has 11 receptions for 174 yards in those last two contests—a number that matches his career mark for receiving yards coming into this season. Being the Giants’ No. 4 receiver, the loss would appear to be minimal. Unfortunately, the roster is decimated by injuries and Barden was proving to be a significant playmaker with...

New York Giants' Osi Umenyiora calls end to feud with Philadelphia Eagles' LeSean McCoy

There were some pretty classic moments between Osi Umenyiora and LeSean McCoy, including the wish of a Happy Mother's Day and the accusation of being a ballerina, but the feud between the New York Giants defensive end and Philadelphia Eagles running back came to an end on Sunday night following a 19-17 Iggles victory. All-Pro Pierre-Paul not having any fun

Football has not been any fun for Jason Pierre-Paul this season. Pierre-Paul has gone from All-Pro to all frowns. The sacks aren't coming: Pierre-Paul has just 1 1/2 in four games in 2012 after getting 16 1/2 a year ago and terrorizing opposing passers down the stretch and into the postseason as the Giants won the Super Bowl. He says he looks in the mirror and asks himself...

New York Giants: Week 5 NFL Power Rankings (#14)

Last week: 14 (+0) Record: 2-2 This is the league’s 2nd worst defense in terms of yards per play allowed, thanks to a pass defense that ranks tied for last allowing 9.0 YPA. Their secondary simply cannot seem to beat the injury bug, much like last year, and it’s getting worse as safety Kenny Phillips is expected to be out for a few weeks after leaving last week’s loss to the...

The LeSean McCoy/Osi Umenyiora Feud is Over?

Well looks like the fun we had last week over this feud is already over according to LeSean McCoy. “We crossed paths a couple times, we gave each other the eye,” McCoy said on the SportsRadio WIP Player’s Lounge show on Monday. “In the warmups, we looked at each other funny. I think after the game, it’s time to get over this Osi and LeSean thing because after the game...

New York Giants hoping to field enough players to play Cleveland Browns in week 5

We're kidding, but maybe we shouldn't be…the New York Giants injury situation is rising to almost comedic levels as the 0-4 Cleveland Browns come rolling into town.
