There is nothing witty or funny about this one. I, for one, am drawn to the (what seems like) nonsense that quarterbacks rattle off at the line of scrimmage. After scanning the defense, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are puppet masters pulling the ten strings that control their offensive teammates. Half of the stuff they yell, I’m convinced is a bunch of malarkey.
Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer sat down with retired NFL greats Brian Urlacher and Randy Moss Monday to discuss what Brady’s and Manning’s random words at the line mean.
Use this as a lesson in code-speak. Use it during with co-workers during a sales presentation. Use it with your spouse in reference to your parenting efforts. The only thing – once your opponent understands what you’re saying, you’ll have hungry linebackers breathing down your throat.
