NFL Trade Rumors:
Former Jaguars RB Rashad Jennings announced via his twitter account that he’s signing with the Oakland Raiders.
Jennings actually worked out for the Raiders earlier in the day, so it’s not all that surprising that a deal came together.
Oakland also met with the Bernard Scott on Wednesday, but they apparently felt better about the idea of signing Jennings. The Raiders have actually been fairly busy in regards to signing free agents in the past few days.
With the loss of Mike Goodson to the Jets via free agency this offseason, the Raiders have a need for a reliable backup behind Darren McFadden, who has yet to play in all 16 games during his five seasons in NFL.
Last year, Jennings produced only 2.80 yards per carry average while filling in for an injured Maurice Jones-Drew. Hopefully for the Raiders he’ll be able to contribute at a higher level next season.

This is a nice pick up for the Raiders. Jenkins has been a pretty good player when he’s stayed healthy.

There is still plenty of time for the Jacksonville Jaguars to make an impact in free agency. The names may not be sexy or they may be names we have seen bantered about back and forth for weeks now between several teams. The Jaguars still have plenty of cap space and are in desperate need of help on the offensive line and in the secondary. It cannot hurt to take a swing, even if they...
Reggie McKenzie must have had some sort of wholesale deal for defenders, because the reported signing of cornerback Joselio Hanson would mark the fourth defensive player the Raiders have reached a new agreement with on Tuesday alone.
Hason, 31, will return to the Raiders secondary this season on a one-year deal, according to reports and Hanson himself:

I am not big on excuses. I am not big on using religion, as a reason for your good or bad accomplishments. Sometimes you just have to man up and blame yourself.
Not Jesus, Judas, God, Devil or Tebow.
But, here is how linebacker Rolando McClain explained his multiple off the field issues, while he was with the Raiders.
