Sportsday:
A few plays determine the outcome of most NFL games. The chop block called on Atlanta center Todd McClure in the first quarter merits attention. The Falcons could not handle Dallas Cowboys' nose tackle Jay Ratliff and had to resort to a double team. McClure went for Ratliff's legs when he was already engaged, drawing the penalty that put Atlanta int eh bind of a secon-and-25 at their 28. The Falcons, leading 7-0 at the time, ended up wasting a promising possession that started at their 43.
