Ravens: Both sides now

Nobody likes to lose and nobody likes to think they got jobbed by the officials, but yesterday's loss to the Patriots also was full of signs that this Ravens team has places to go and things to do this year. Obviously, the biggest downside was the four mistakes in the first half. Whether you think the Suggs roughing penalty was legit or not, the Ravens hurt themselves in enough ways before halftime to lose a game to just about any one. They fell behind by a couple of scores to the Patriots on the road and that probably should have been that. Of course, the good news is that it wasn't. They forced a fumble that got them back into the game in the third quarter and went nose-to-nose with a very good team the rest of the way. If Mark Clayton catches that last pass -- and he should have -- they were very possibly looking at a one-point victory at Gillette Stadium. I don't care about the woulda-coulda aspect of that. The Ravens are 3-1 and in great shape going forward...
