The Baltimore Ravens escaped Sunday with their fifth win of the season, but did so at the cost of their top cornerback.
According to CBSSports’ Jason La Canfora, the Ravens fear Lardarius Webb tore his ACL in the team’s 31-29 victory over the Cowboys.
“It does not look good at all,” says La Canfora.
In his post game press conference, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed the potential season-ending injury, adding Webb will undergo an MRI on Monday.
If Webb, who signed a $53 million extension in the offseason, is indeed lost for the year, it would be a crippling blow to a Baltimore defense that already is struggling sans linebacker Terrell Suggs. Webb is a key cog, playing both outside and in the slot.
