The Baltimore Ravens continued to add to their team with the addition of Steve Spagnuolo. Spagnuolo has served as a head coach for the Rams and formerly was a defensive coordinator with the Giants and Saints. After serving one year with the Saints he was fired at the seasons end. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and Spagnuolo have a relationship dating back to their team in Philadelphia. There Harbuagh was the special teams coach while Spagnuolo coached linebackers. “Steve had a number of opportunities in the league right now, and we’re excited he picked the Ravens,” Harbaugh said via the Baltimore Sun. “He comes to a staff that we believe is very strong, and he makes us even better. His wealth of NFL coaching experience speaks for itself, and he’ll help us across the board. We think he can help with every position on the defense, and we’ll take full advantage of his knowledge and excellent teaching abilities. The Ravens got better today with the addition of an outstanding coach and ...

The Baltimore Ravens Will Finish 2013 Below .500

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off quite the playoff run capped by a victory in Super Bowl 47. They have an all-star running back in Ray Rice and one of the best upcoming wide receiver in the league in Torrey Smith. Unfortunately for the Ravens, that’s about the...

Tuaolo, Bean: out and thriving

Brendon Ayanbadejo is a 10-year NFL veteran who last played with the Super Bowl XLVII champion Baltimore Ravens and is a staunch supporter of same-sex marriage rights. In August 2012, Maryland state delegate Emmett Burns Jr. wrote an open letter to Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti requesting Ayanbadejo cease and desist all public support of marriage equality after Ayanbadejo donated...

The Baltimore Ravens Waive RB Lonyae Miller

The Super Bowl champions, Baltimore Ravens, waived running back Lonyae Miller. He had never taken a carry in an NFL game but garnered a not-so-super 2.9 YPC in the 2012 preseason.   The post The Baltimore Ravens Waive RB Lonyae Miller appeared first on FFLockerRoom...

Steve Spagnuolo to be Ravens senior defensive assistant

Seems almost like a lifetime ago that Steve Spagnuolo was hailed as the genius that lead the Giants defense to an upset over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. Spagnuolo was riding high after that moment, parlaying that performance into a St. Louis Rams head coaching gig the following year. That's when it all came crashing down. His job in St. Louis came to halt...

Bryant McKinnie is back in Ravens' house at LT...

It's a big deal that "Moby Grape" is back to protect Joe Flacco's blind side after flirting with his erstwhile suitors... When he's in shape and ready to play, Bryant McKinnie gives the Ravens so much strength and adaptability to their offensive line that it is not funny. I had a feeling he would come back after testing a lukewarm free-agent market....

Baltimore Ravens re-sign Bryant McKinnie

Interest in free agent offensive lineman Bryant McKinnie had picked up recently, as the veteran visited with the Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers. However, McKinnie's former team -- the Baltimore Ravens -- remained in contact with him, and they were ultimately able to convince him to re-sign. McKinnie inked a two-year deal with the defending Super Bowl champions that can...

Breaking news on Derby Day---Spags is a Raven...

Defensive genius Steve Spagnuolo was kinda left hanging in NFL limbo this past offseason, somewhat as a leftover from the disaster in New Orleans in 2012.
