So far in the preseason, the Ravens starters have been very impressive. In Week 1, the team dominated the Washington Redskins, 23-0. Both the starters and backups played very well. The starters played through the first quarter and a drive, leading 6-0. Quarterback Joe Flacco was 9-of-15 with 105 yards, Ray Rice (pictured) looked very good, and Derrick Mason and Demetrius Williams looked OK. The defense looked especially good. While the Redskins offense isn't one that figures to make any noise this season, the Ravens defense also showed up. Starting Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell completed just three of his six passes, running back Ladell Betts had four carries for seven yards, and the "dangerous" quartet of Devin Thomas, Antwaan Randle El, Fred Davis, and Malcolm Kelly combined for seven catches and 69 yards.
