So Joe Flacco is basically a fluke at this point right? Only hardcore delusional Ravens fans would tell you otherwise. The real question here is, will this be bigger than Tebowing?? #Flaccoing is way easier to do and people love to give guys a hard time in the NFL when they are struggling. It's as easy as taking a nap too, which is basically what this guy does during...
Joe Flacco has lost three fumbles and thrown three interceptions in his last three games, each of which the Baltimore Ravens lost.
Flacco understands that an NFL quarterback often receives an inordinate amount of criticism in defeat and perhaps too much credit for a victory. And he's OK with it.
Asked how much blame he deserves for Baltimore's current skid, Flacco replies...
Despite only losing their last three games, quarterback Joe Flacco says the team feels as though they are 0-14 (Credit: AP Photo)
After losing three straight games to the Steelers, Redskins and Broncos, some players on the Baltimore Ravens are feeling low. While the team is still 9-5 and has clinched a playoff spot, quarterback Joe Flacco does not feel like celebrating. Flacco actually...
Ravens starting middle linebacker Jameel McClain has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a spinal cord contusion, according to coach John Harbaugh.
"He'll be done for the season," Harbaugh said. "He will not have time to heal before the end of the season."
McClain suffered the injury during the Ravens' 31-28 overtime loss to the...
The Baltimore Ravens are playoff bound, and that's about the best thing that can be said about a team that's lost three in a row and has more than a half-dozen key players sidelined with injuries.
Baltimore (9-5) backed into the postseason late Sunday when Pittsburgh lost to Dallas. That assured the Ravens of at least wild-card berth, although their excitement over the accomplishment...
With the Broncos up big Sunday in Baltimore, Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta boosted his stat line with a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns.Fantasy Spin:Pitta produced a career-high 125 yards receiving Sunday against Denver. His seven touchdown catches this season (also a personal best) ranks fifth among NFL tight ends.
On a day when a Baltimore defense inundated with injury was able to give Peyton Manning everything he could handle and more, the Ravens offense did not show up like the cavalry they were supposed to be. In fact, Flacco and company gave points away to Denver. It was a disgraceful performance.
It wasn't all on Joe Flacco, although Joe admitted after the game the pick-6 he...
Dennis Pitta is why you pay attention to fantasy defenses by position. The Broncos have been strong against the pass on the season but gave up the 2nd most fantasy points on the season to opposing Tight Ends coming in to this week’s contest. While many of Pitta’s yards came on a nifty play down the middle that probably shouldn't have gone for a score (missed tackles) it...
This past week, the Baltimore Ravens decided it was time to part ways with offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, installing Jim Caldwell as the interim coordinator. The results on Sunday were less than impressive.
To be fair to the Ravens, the Broncos are one of the hottest teams in football, and Peyton Manning has been there, done that. Still, it was shocking to check up on the game...
The mounting frustrations of a third consecutive loss were on display during and after the Ravens' 34-17 defeat to the Denver Broncos.
That included Ravens Pro Bowl free safety Ed Reed slamming his helmet to the ground after he and cornerback Cary Williams allowed a touchdown pass to Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker. Then, Reed booted his helmet soccer-style with the helmet...
In looking at the Denver Broncos remaining games on the schedule, their date with the Baltimore Ravens was circled by many fans as the toughest remaining matchup of the season before the playoffs. With home dates against Cleveland in week 16 and Kansas City in the final week, the Broncos were facing the Baltimore Ravens on the road in what was expected to be a marquee matchup.While...
BALTIMORE -- The Denver Broncos are on fire. The Baltimore Ravens are starting to feel some heat. Broncos cornerback Chris Harris returned an interception 98 yards for a touchdown, and Eric Decker caught a 51-yard touchdown pass, leading Denver to a 34-17 rout over the Ravens in front of 71,317 at M&T Bank Stadium. Peyton Manning went 17-for-28 for 204 yards and a touchdown...
The star of the week for former Brigham Young Cougars in the NFL was clearly Dennis Pitta. He had his best day, individually, as a pro. Bryan Kehl had his best game of the season, and Brady Poppinga continued his immediate impact in Dallas. On a down note, Vic So’oto is no longer on the Packers’ active roster. Dennis Pitta, Baltimore Ravens, Tight EndPitta had career highs...
BALTIMORE -- Chris Harris returned a Joe Flacco interception 98 yards for a touchdown and Eric Decker caught a 51-yard touchdown pass, leading the Denver Broncos to a 34-17 rout over the Baltimore Ravens.
