The Ravens return home after a month to take on the Raiders. Last Sunday, the Ravens squeaked out a win over the Browns and the Raiders lost a shootout to the Buccaneers in Oakland.
However, during their loss Sunday, the Raiders lost two running backs to ankle injuries. The running backs are star Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson. That stems the running game for Oakland and will help the Ravens.
Baltimore is banged up on the front line so the fewer run plays they have to deal with, the better for them. The Ravens have struggled defending the run this season and Haloti Ngata is dealing with a shoulder injury.
The Baltimore offense seems to play better at home than they do on the road. I expect the Ravens to run the ball against and Oakland defense that gave up 251 yards and four touchdowns to rookie Doug Martin of Tampa Bay. Ray Rice is a veteran and knows he can run through the Oakland defense.
This is also the time of year the Ravens really run the ball with the weather changing. Ba...

Injured running backs Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson have been placed on the inactive list by the Oakland Raiders for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
McFadden and Goodson rank 1-2 on the team's rushing list. Both have sprained right ankles, leaving Taiwan Jones - who has one carry for 2 yards this year - as the likely starter.

The Oakland Raiders will be without RB’s Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson for Sunday’s game against the Ravens.
Both players missed practice on Friday because of high-ankle sprains, so Taiwan Jones figures to see large workload with Marcel Reece being mixed in throughout the game. McFadden’s injury isn’t believed to be too severe, so there’s at least a chance that he...
Raiders running back Darren McFadden (ankle) missed another practice and fantasy owners should plan on his missing Week 10.
SOURCE: Steve Corkran, Contra Costa TimesFantasy Spin:With backup Mike Goodson also out with a high ankle sprain, Oakland will turn to a combination of Taiwan Jones and Marcel Reese.
According to Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times, running backs Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson, as well as defensive end Richard Seymour will not play this week.
“You don’t ever know exactly how someone is going to respond to an injury,” said Raiders head coach Dennis Allen. “Obviously, none of them make enough progress this week that they were able to be up. We’ll...

Oakland Raiders at Baltimore Ravens Raiders RBs Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson (ankle)
Jock to Doc take: Neither McFadden or his backup, Mike Goodson, practiced Thursday, according to the Contra Costa Times. While Coach Dennis Allen has not ruled them out, both statuses look cloudy for this week. Taiwan Jones is next in line to lead the Raiders rushing attack.
The Pittsburgh Steelers don't play until Monday night so Steeler Nation can sit back on Sunday and watch several games that will continue to shape the AFC playoff picture. Below are six games to have your eyes on for pretty obvious reasons.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Oakland Raiders - The Raiders beat the Steelers earlier this season, but can they knock off the Ravens on the road...
Doc is not surprised that Darren McFadden got hurt. That’s right up there with the sun rising in the east, the Cubs being a crummy baseball team and the SEC thinking its the best college football conference since the dawn of mankind. It’s predictable and quite dull.
Since McFadden is quickly becoming a charter member of the frequent injury punch card club, let’s grab his file...
