Ravens' Mark Andrews gives hilarious response to Lamar Jackson contract talks

Rumors are swirling about QB Lamar Jackson's future in Baltimore. And Ravens TE Mark Andrews is willing to do anything to keep his quarterback in town.

"I'll give him my paycheck if I have to, man," Andrews said on "Pro Football Talk."

Reportedly, Baltimore and Jackson "could possibly be" $100 million apart over how much guaranteed money should be in his contract.

The Ravens have their AFC North rivals to thank for Jackson's demands. Browns QB Deshaun Watson's five-year, $230 million fully guaranteed contract has certainly influenced what Jackson feels he is worth.

However, Baltimore may just have to pay him. The 2019 NFL MVP hoped his play would do the talking this season, but it may have been his absence that spoke the loudest.

The Ravens went 2-4 without him and lost in the wild-card round of the playoffs to the Bengals ending their 2022 campaign.

The two sides might seem far apart now, but Andrews is still confident the deal will get done.

"I think Lamar is a Raven for life," Andrews added. "I know the organization. I know they want Lamar and I know he has a lot of respect for the organization as well. So I think both parties want to get this deal done. It's just about doing it."
