Baltimore Ravens center Matt Birk announced his retirement from the NFL today. Matt Birk: “Today I’m announcing my retirement from the NFL.” — Baltimore Ravens (@Ravens) February 22, 2013 Birk played 15 seasons in the NFL.  The only two teams he played for were the Vikings (1998-2008) and the Ravens (2009-2012).
