Baltimore Ravens center Matt Birk announced his retirement from the NFL today.

Birk played 15 seasons in the NFL. The only two teams he played for were the Vikings (1998-2008) and the Ravens (2009-2012).
I’m sure winning the Super Bowl this past season made it much easier to walk away from the game he loves. We wish him the best going forward.
