“Anything can happen on any given Sunday.” We’ve heard it time and time again and this week is no exception. The Baltimore Ravens carried there poor offensive performance from last week, back to Baltimore where they faced the Arizona Cardinals. The first half was a disaster as the Ravens’ offensive line fell apart and Joe Flacco struggled early. The defense allowed some uncharacteristic big plays and the usually stout special teams unit showcased poor tackling as the rookie Patrick Peterson took a punt to the house. The Ravens were able to add a field goal at the end of the half to bring the score to 24 – 6.More after the jump… … [visit site to read more]Ravens Reverse Bad Half And Come Out With The Win 30-27 - Ebony Bird - Ebony Bird - A Baltimore Ravens Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more.

Joe Flacco on Ravens Struggling: I Probably Would Have Wanted to Boo too

Before putting together their biggest comeback in franchise history Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens were down 24-3 to the lowly Cardinals. Their offense had two punts, a fumble, and a field goal in its first four possessions. Add that to the team’s 12-7 loss against Jacksonville Monday night, and the Ravens were looking like one of [...]

Rookie Peterson takes punt return back 82 yds.

Arizona Cardinals top rookie cornerback Patrick Peterson is one hell of an athlete. He puts that athleticism on full display with this 82-yard punt return for a touchdown against the Ravens in Baltimore, breaking 5 tackles in the process: The return TD was Peterson’s second of the season so far. The Cardinals landed Peterson with [...]

Flacco fuels comeback win against Arizona

BALTIMORE -- Before launching the biggest comeback victory in the history of the Baltimore Ravens, Joe Flacco first had to withstand the indignity of being booed by his usually supportive hometown fans. Flacco didn't care for the treatment, although he could appreciate the sentiment. And it didn't prevent him from carrying the Ravens past the Arizona Cardinals, 30-27.

Prediction Friday: Ravens enjoy home cooking

Monday night was a disaster and it will be nice to move on for the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore is 3-0 and blowing teams away at M&T Bank Stadium. So far, in Baltimore, the Ravens have beaten opponents by 28, 17 and 15. Don't expect any of that to change Sunday afternoon. Joe Flacco and the offense is coming off one of the worst performances in franchise history. I would...

What’s Important Now: Cleaning Up the Silly Mistakes

While the obvious subject for this week’s installment of “What’s Important Now” with the Pittsburgh Steelers next on the schedule would have been improving the atrocious pass-blocking of the offensive line, with the news today that neither James Harrison (9 sacks in 10 career games against the Ravens) nor LaMarr Woodley (9.5 in 10) that issues becomes just a tad less pressing...

Cardinals build three touchdown lead in Baltimore

The Ravens are somehow playing worse than they did on Monday night. The Cardinals lead 24-3 late in the first half after putting up three touchdowns in less than five minutes in the second quarter. The score makes it look like the Ravens defense is struggling, but that’s not the case. Joe Flacco lost a…

Classic "Team Win"... Ravens 30, Cards 27...

According to Stan White and Keith Mills at WBAL Radio, Joe Flacco...

Baltimore Ravens 30, Arizona Cardinals 27

The Ravens were down 24-3 in the second quarter before the light finally came on.  Kicker Billy Cundiff nailed a 25-yard field goal as time expired to give the Ravens an incredible comeback win.  Joe Flacco was awful in the first half and outstanding in the second half yesterday.  He completed 31 of 51 passes for 336 yards with 0 TD passes and 1 INT.  He also carried the ball...

ONLINE ONLY Quick hits: Cam Cameron turns the heat down with half-time adjustments

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco continues to show resiliency, fortitudeIn an exciting game that was a tale of two halves, the Ravens did something they had never done before after spending the first two quarters repeating the kind of mistakes they made in Monday night’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
