The Baltimore Ravens blew a 10 point halftime lead over the Philadelphia Eagles to fall to 1-1 on the year in a frustrating road loss. Michael Vick rushed for a touchdown with just under two-minutes remaining in the game to give the Eagles a 24-23 lead.
Joe Flacco, who was simply awful in the second half, was not able to lead the Ravens to a game winning drive. Instead he missed a wide-open Dennis Pitta on 3rd and 2 and on the following play was nowhere near his target, thus ending the game.
In what many pundits claimed could be a possible Super Bowl preview, the Eagles proved to be the better team despite four turnovers and numerous penalties.… Read more

Joe Flacco Not Happy With Loss, Rips Replacement Refs
Joe Flacco is clearly not thrilled by the loss that his Baltimore Ravens endured today, letting the Eagles slip past them by one point in a 24-23 loss.
The Ravens had a chance to win, and a touchdown taken away when a questionable flag was thrown for offensive pass interference on what would have been a 25 yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Jones.
Flacco is fed up with replacement officials...

But they were not just tabled; they essentially were...
Ravens lose to Eagles 24-23
Joe Flacco didn’t have a banner second half. It cost the Ravens (1-1) the game.
Philadelphia (2-0) drove down the field to score a touchdown with a little less than two minutes to go. Mike Vick led the Eagles to their last score of the game and it was the decisive score.
Flacco struggled to convert third downs and appeared to be a little too pass happy in the Ravens 24-23 loss...
Why we blame the replacement referees for everything

Week 2 Wrap-up: Eagles vs. Ravens

Eagles win Battle of the Bulge vs. Ravens, 24-23...
This was a blood bath... it reminded me of a quote from an ancient Greek general named Pyyrhrus, who stated after winning a battle where he lost half his army in the process--- “Another victory like this, and we’re done for.”There were many casualties and much collateral damage to both the Eagles and the Ravens. Jason Kelce is probably out for the season with a severe knee...

2-0? Yes, 2-0. On to Arizona.
We are witnessing the first 2-0 start since 2004, two outstanding defensive displays, and the ablility to win games late. Except for turnovers and penalties, our Philadelphia Eagles gave us reasons for optimism against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. We saw big time use of the tight end Brent Celek, a balanced run and passing attack, sharp passing by Michael Vick, and solid...
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Arizona Cardinals: Three Bold Predictions
So far this year, if there is one thing that is obvious, it is that nothing is guaranteed. Though the Philadelphia Eagles may have nine turnovers in two games, they still sit atop the NFC East at 2-0. The Cardinals are perhaps more lucky to be 2-0 than the Eagles. The Cards defeated the Patriots last Sunday for the first time in 20 years thanks to a muffed kick by Stephen Gostkowski...

Jones busts out juggling TD celebration
After catching a touchdown pass from Joe Flacco, Jacoby Jones decided to give the home crowd in Philadelphia a postgame show. Jacoby Jones did a TD celebration which we have seen Chris Johnson pull off in the past, which seems quite complicated. The 21-yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Jones put the Ravens up 14-7 with 8:32 left to play in first half. Interesting note, Jones Nnamdi...
