Ravens coach John Harbaugh has accepted the brunt of responsibility for his team's 43-13 loss to Houston on Sunday.
Harbaugh said Monday, ''It's on me. We were not in position to win that game.''
He said the Ravens weren't prepared for Houston's scheme or intensity, and he said crowd noise was also a factor.
Baltimore trailed 29-3 at halftime and absorbed its most lopsided loss since Harbaugh took over as head coach four years ago.
Despite the defeat, the Ravens are alone atop the AFC North and take a 5-2 record into the bye week.
Harbaugh says, ''This week's going to be good for us. ... The bye week comes at a great time.''

Terrell Suggs is extremely happy to be back on the football field, and it looks like his positive attitude carried over to the Baltimore Ravens team photo day. The first instance of Suggs being Suggs is the below photo of him posing like a male model with a giant grin on his face. You can see plenty more fun pics on the team’s official Facebook page. The second instance...
The Houston Texans dominated the Baltimore Ravens in just about every category Sunday. That included the trash talk. J.J. Watt's on-field taunts were caught by a microphone Sunday as the Texans dismantled the Ravens 43-13, and the 6-foot-5, 295-pound Watt let 5-foot-8 running back Ray Rice know what he thought of him. "I've eaten burritos bigger than you...
The Baltimore Ravens are entering their bye week off of, quite frankly, an embarrassing loss to the Houston Texans that finally brought out their weaknesses for the world to see. All season we have talked about how much the defense has struggled, more specifically with the run, but let's not forget that the Baltimore offense has only put up 45 total points in three road games...
Baltimore QB Joe Flacco stunk up the joint with an awful 147-yard performance Sunday at Houston.Fantasy Spin:Flacco has been brilliant at home this season, completing 94 of 140 passes for seven TD and a 106.6 quarterback rating. Unfortunately, this game was played on the road, where Flacco has a QB rating of just 55.9. Flacco and the Ravens will have a bye next week before returning...
With Ray Lewis possibly gone for the rest of the season, the Baltimore Ravens will have to hope that linebacker Terrell Suggs will be able to fill in for his absence.
Suggs hasn't played a game this season due to a tore Achilles tendon but it believed that he might play against the Houston Texans later today.
During the week, Suggs decided to play a prank on Ravens reporter...
Six months after sustaining a torn Achilles tendon on the basketball court, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs will suit up and play against the Houston Texans, the team announced.
Suggs, who was placed on the non-football injury list in April, has participated all week in practice and it was expected that he would make his return. It couldn't come at a better time.
Ravens defensive end Terrell Suggs has been downgraded to a game-time decision Sunday against Houston. Suggs (Achilles) was activated from the team's physically unable to perform list on Saturday.Fantasy Spin:We assumed the activation meant Suggs would play but apparently that's not necessarily the case. If Suggs sits, Albert McClellan would likely get the start in his place.
J.J. Watt had a microphone on this past Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. He lets Ravens running back Ray Rice know, “I have eaten burritos bigger than you.” Watch it here. (Excuse the sound quality) Disclaimer: We do not own this video, we are sharing it for entertainment purposes only.
The Ravens put in their worst performance of the season against Houston and were graded harshly for it.
Ravens fans hope this won’t become routine RAVENS – 13TEXANS – 43 Sunday afternoon at Reliant Stadium was not a pretty one for the Baltimore Ravens. The Houston Texans dominated in every facet of the game and are now standing alone atop the AFC standings. Houston took it to the Ravens in the running game, the passing game, on defense, virtually every aspect of the game the...

The Houston Texans hosted the Baltimore Ravens in a game that had immediate and future implications on the seating in the AFC. In this game, both teams were playing for the top seed in the AFC. The Texans had a little bit extra to play for as they were bulldozed the previous week by the Packers and the Texans needed a good showing. The Texans also needed to win this game after coming...
Chris Johnson managed to get himself to the edge early in the game against the Bills showing nice burst to get an impressive touchdown. Things must have gone crazy on the Ravens sideline when Terrell Suggs pulled down Matt Schaub in the first quarter. I thought he was crazy to play on one peg, but, …
