SAN DIEGO - SEPTEMBER 20: Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh looks on from the sideline against the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium on September 20, 2009 in San Diego, California. The Ravens defeated the Chargers 31-26. (Photo by Jeff Gross/Getty Images)
The Ravens are a perfect 4-0 under John Harbaugh in season finales. This one, though, is different than past season finales. The Ravens have wrapped up the division (it was still in question last season), are almost certain to be the fourth seed and are nursing a high number of injuries. All that adds up to the Ravens being expected to rest players and get healthy for the playoffs. Baltimore will surely want to continue the offensive momentum from last week and have a chance to break the 400 points scored marker if they score 19 points. That could be incentive to play the starters for a while against the Bengals. The problem here is the Bengals are on fire. They can’t improve their playoff seeding so this is a meaningless game for them, but they have won six of their last seven and would like to win a playoff game this season. I really don’t know how this one plays out. I say the Bengals take it 21-20.
