Former Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos backup quarterback Caleb Hanie will be the new Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback, according to Jeff Dickerson of ESPNChicago.com.
Hanie spent last year in Denver, but spent the first four years of his NFL career in Chicago. He has some starting experience, replacing an injured Jay Cutler in 2011, starting in 4 games. In all, he's appeared in 10 games with 679 passing yards, 3 TDs and 10 interceptions.
He had no such luck in Denver last year to play in any games, as Peyton Manning was back to his old healthy self. The backup job in Baltimore isn't his quite yet; he'll assumingly have to compete Tyrod Taylor for that number 2 spot.
Former #Bears QB Caleb Hanie expected to sign with the #Ravens, per a league source.
