Visanthe Shiancoe was a guest at Ravens practice on Friday, and now he’s a Raven on Sunday.
A day after losing tight end Dennis Pitta for the season, the Ravens announced on Sunday afternoon that Shiancoe has agreed to a one-year contract.
The Ravens were interested in Shiancoe even before Pitta got hurt, and they add a veteran tight end who appeared in four games for the Patriots last season.
