The Baltimore Ravens have signed wide receiver James Hardy to a "Reserve/Future" contract, a league source said. Hardy (6-5, 220) was a second-round pick (41st overall) out of Indiana by the Buffalo Bills in 2008. Signed to a four-year, $4.165 million contract that included over $2 million in guarantees, Hardy caught 10 passes for 96 yards and two touchdowns before he was waived by the Bills in September. A torn ACL late in his rookie season limited Hardy to 16 games over his two seasons in Buffalo. Hardy worked for several teams this fall, including the Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, and Seattle Seahawks, and is the first player the Ravens have signed to a "Reserve/Futures" contract.
