Wide receiver Jacoby Jones signed a two-year deal with the Ravens, who also announced safety Bernard Pollard has agreed to a three-year extension. Jones was released by Houston last week. The six-year veteran started 10 games in place of injured Andre Johnson last season and caught 21 passes for 562 yards and two touchdowns, but became the target of heavy criticism from fans after he muffed a punt that set up Baltimore's first touchdown in Houston's playoff loss in January. However, he provides an immediate upgrade for a Ravens team that struggled in the return game in 2011, in addition to providing a potential big-play threat for the offense. "Adding Jacoby gives us another proven downfield weapon in our passing game and production with our returns," Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome said in a statement.
