Found March 24, 2013 on Pro Football Zone:

Every NFL player should have learned two years ago that it isn’t smart to refer to your team as a “dream team” after Vince Young claimed the Eagles were such. Arthur Jones of the Baltimore Ravens clearly doesn’t agree with me.  After the Ravens signed Elvis Dumervil today, Jones told Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun that they’re like a “dream team in the making.” Arthur Jones on Elvis Dumervil addition: ‘That’s awesome. It’s like a dream team in the making. I can’t wait until we all get together.’ — Aaron Wilson (@RavensInsider) March 24, 2013 I hope Mr. Jones realizes that his team has two glaring holes at the safety position as well as at wide receiver and left tackle now that Anquan Boldin, Ed Reed, Bernard Pollard, and Bryant McKinnie at no longer on the team. Of course you can also bring up the losses of Ray Lewis, Dannell Ellerbe, and Paul Kruger, but I believe Dumervil’s arrival negates those departures.     Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = ''+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })();

  • I like the Ravens for a lot of reasons this next season, but "Dream Team" is way too premature, and even a stupid remark. JOnes is part of the crowd that gets all full of themselves, and I guess that goes with the turf now-a-days, but it would be nice if they didn't keep popping off.
  • I see nothing wrong with the comment. Everybody dreams of being on a Super Bowl team and every fan loves to dream of being a fan of a Super Bowl team.
  • I like his high hopes and mine after all of the departures. I love Ravens football. But I wouldn't go as far as dream team. Since they let Ed Reed go, they could have signed Boldin. He was worth 6 mil a year. That's what other receivers are getting.

Report: Dumervil signs with Ravens

Former Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil, who was released after a bizarre turn of events, has reportedly signed with the Ravens.

Ravens reportedly concerned over the loss of Anquan Boldin

According to the National Football Post, the Baltimore Ravens are concerned about their offense after trading away wide receiver Anquan Boldin. From the Ravens’ perspective, losing free agents isn’t the end of the world. But they were hoping to retain Reed. And they are concerned about the loss of Anquan Boldin. They believed Boldin gave their offense a dimension over the middle...

Baltimore Ravens' Torrey Smith: From Super Bowl winner to the U. S. Congress

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith spent part of his offseason working as a congressional intern for U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.). Smith, 24, won the Super Bowl in February, but he spent part of March doing basic office work in Cummings’ Baltimore office. He has just a few more days left on the job.

Baltimore Ravens Torrey Smith and wife rap about

While it's not bizarre to see an NFL player do some rapping, it is a little different to see an NFL player and his wife busting some rhymes about reading. Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith and his wife Chanel Williams (who happens to be a 4th grade teacher at Dogwood Elementary School) recently produced a video attempting to get kids to study for the Maryland School...

Arthur Jones thinks Ravens are a 'dream team' in the making

We're pretty sure defensive lineman Arthur Jones' Baltimore Ravens teammmates must have cringed at this one when he uttered the Vice Younq-esq words, but apparently Jone is just ticked pink that Elvis Dumervil is coming to town. 'That's awesome. It's like a dream team in the making. I can't wait until we all get together,' Jones uttered to Aaron Wilson...

Torrey Smith Spent March Interning For Maryland U.S. Representative, Elijah Cummings

Torrey Smith hasn’t gone the lazy route following his Baltimore Ravens winning the Super Bowl, instead he has been sharpening his brain while working as a Government intern. For the month of March, Torrey has been working for Maryland U.S. Representative (D) Elijah Cummings as an intern doing remedial tasks, yet doing them with a smile. “I was handling files, reading letters...

Ravens Torrey Smith Is An Intern For Maryland Congressman

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith is a jack of all trades, and one thing you’ll never be able to say about him is that he’s not prepared for life after football. While other Ravens were enjoying their last few weeks of being Super Bowl hero’s, Smith spent most of March as a government intern for Maryland U.S. Representative (D) Elijah Cummings according to baltimoreravens...

Super Bowl champ works as intern

Super Bowl champion Torrey Smith spent the first month of his offseason the same way many college students spend their summers -- interning. On the advice of the Ravens' player development office, Smith signed up for an internship under Maryland U.S. Representative Elijah Cummings after he found himself with some extra free time before the start of offseason workouts. And, from...
