Hours after the NFL lockout was settled, the Baltimore Ravens told running back Willis McGahee and nose tackle Kelly Gregg that they will be released Thursday. The moves will free up $9.5 million in salary cap space for the club, according to the Baltimore Sun. McGahee's released was considered a done deal since before the lockout. He was due $6 million for next season. The newspaper reported that Gregg could return to the Ravens at a reduced salary. A starter since 2002, Gregg was scheduled to make $3.5 million nexst season. McGahee has been relegated to backup duty after the emergence of Ray Rice. He had 380 yards and five touchdowns on 100 carries in 2010.
